The PDF Lossless Drawing Slicer is a high-precision, surgical tool built for architects, engineers, and map detailers.
When extracting a specific pump room or chip core from a massive CAD engineering blueprint or geographic map PDF, traditional screenshots result in pixelated, blurry text. Normal cropping tools simply place a mask over the sheet, meaning the massive 100MB file remains huge, and hidden content can still be extracted.
This tool edits the page /MediaBox, /CropBox, and /BleedBox matrices at the object tree level. It physically isolates vector nodes outside the selected region, keeping the target area 100% vector-perfect (allowing infinite zoom magnification) while purging redundant off-screen paths and images to shrink the file size by 95%!

Draw cutting box
Drag and scale the green laser-line crop box to target the local region you want to slice.

How is this different from standard cropping?
Standard cropping merely adjusts visual bounds; the hidden vectors remain in the file. Our slicer trims overlapping vector paths and purges out-of-bounds XObject images, ensuring complete data isolation and maximum file compression.
Will text layers remain searchable?
Yes. Any text characters that fall inside the sliced boundary remain fully vector-clear, searchable, and selectable.
Can I export sliced regions to SVG?
The output is a standardized vector PDF. You can pass the resulting file to our PDF-to-SVG tool to convert it to a web-scalable vector graphics format.
