The Prepress Photo Tiling tool is a cost-effective, high-precision layout compiler built for personal registration cards and photography studios.
Printing passport photos, ID photos, or driver licenses at home often results in incorrect physical dimensions (often printed too large or too small), wasted photo paper, and uneven alignments. Going to professional print shops to get layouts made is time-consuming.
Our tool integrates a precision prepress matrix engine. It accepts portrait photographs or ID card scans, crops them to standard dimensions (e.g. 1" or 2" passport specs), calculates optimal tile counts for standard photo papers (e.g. 5" or 6" sheets), and injects crisp, micro-pixel crop lines for easy physical cutting, generating a perfect printable PDF.

Preguntas frecuentes
Will the printed dimensions match official 1" or 2" specs?
Yes. The grid engine measures using standard PDF points (72 pt = 1 inch), rendering 1" photos exactly at 25x35mm, and 2" photos at 35x49mm. Ensure you print at "Actual Size / 100% Scale" in your printer settings.
Can I combine 1" and 2" photos on a single sheet?
Yes. We provide curated hybrid layout presets (e.g. "4 copies of 1" + 4 copies of 2""), allowing you to maximize photo paper space.
Does the template include border bleeds?
Yes. The prepress layouts reserve a standard 4mm print-safe margin on the paper borders, preventing physical printer rollers from cropping the photos.
