The Smart Privacy Data Redactor is an automated tool designed to ensure robust document privacy compliance.
Simply overlaying black boxes in normal editors is unsafe because the underlying text can still be copied. This tool implements true NLP pattern matching and physical content stream sanitization.
It scans the document for emails, phone numbers, SSNs, or custom keywords, places a premium matte black mask over the coordinates, and permanently overwrites the character stream with [REDACTED], blocking copy-paste leaks.

Yes. We rewrite the page content stream to erase the characters. Copy-pasting from the redacted box will only extract the string "[REDACTED]".
Does it work for scanned image PDFs?
This tool targets vector text streams. For scanned image files, use our OCR tool first or crop manually.
Is the red HUD target scope saved in the file?
No, that is a gorgeous frontend interactive loading effect. The output PDF displays standard clean black rectangles.
